Liz Allen from Local Mud, will guide you through techniques for assembling, securing, and embellishing your wreath. You'll leave this workshop with a unique creation to display at home or gift to someone special.
Our wreath making workshops offer a relaxed, welcoming environment to connect with nature, explore your creativity, and enjoy a mindful, hands-on experience. All ages welcome!

Calling all young artists, storytellers, and monster-makers! Join us for a Spooky Comics Workshop with Falki, a published comic artist and the librarian at the Katahdin Public Library! In this workshop, you’ll learn the basics of comic design and create your very own spooky comic.
Participants will explore the basics of comic storytelling, character design, panels, expressions, and visual effects while learning how artists bring a story to life through pictures and words. You’ll also learn how to draw your own creepy creatures and spooky monsters before putting your new skills to work creating an original comic.
Whether you’re a seasoned artist or just love to doodle and tell stories, this workshop is a chance to get creative, have fun, and let your imagination run wild!

👻Teens are welcome—and encouraged to attend!
✏️ No previous art experience necessary.
This workshop is designed for children ages 8+ and their families. Younger siblings are welcome with the support of a parent, guardian, or trusted adult. Please note, this is not a drop-off event—it’s an opportunity for children and families to learn and create together.
