We’re excited to welcome you to our 2026 Family Pottery season with Liz Allen from Local Mud. This season’s workshops are designed with greater flexibility and accessibility for adults and families in the northern Katahdin Region.
This year we’re doing things a bit differently.
In 2026, you can now choose the dates that work best for your schedule and register for individual workshops throughout the summer. Whether you’re trying pottery for the first time or returning to the studio, this new format makes it easier to join us when it fits your life.
Select a date to register for Hand-Building/Wheel-Throwing. There’s no need to let us know which activity you want to engage in before you arrive.
Then select a date to register for Glazing. Please note that you must sign up for a Hand-Building/Wheel-Throwing to be eligible for a Glazing workshop.
Each family workshop is intentionally limited to just 8 participants to create a relaxed, supportive environment with plenty of hands-on guidance from Liz.
These family workshops are FREE for all participants. There is an option to donate with a suggested donation of $10 or $20 per participant.
DATES & TIMES:

Join us for a peaceful outdoor yoga class held in and around the orchard as the day winds down. Surrounded by trees, birdsong, and the soft evening light, this all-levels class invites you to ground, stretch, and breathe deeply in nature.
We’ll move through a gentle flow and practice static postures designed to release tension, restore balance, and connect with the natural rhythms around us. Whether you're new to yoga or have an established practice, this is a space to slow down and come home to yourself.
Come as you are. Leave feeling rooted and renewed.
Bring: A yoga mat or towel, water, and any props you love. We also have a few yoga mats to share, if you don’t have one.
Cost: $20 per session (sliding scale available)
