Northern Katahdin Adventure Camp Monday, Wednesday and Friday February 17th, 19th, & 21st at The Orchard, Patten, Maine

Join us for the Northern Katahdin Region's first ever winter Adventure Camp February 17, 19, and 21 from 12-3pm.  This adventure camp is offered for children in grades 2-5.  It will be hosted at The Orchard by Katahdin Children and Families Foundation (KCFF) in collaboration with community partners: the Maine Forest Service, the National Park Service, Katahdin Learning Project, artist and art educator, Charlene Lutz, as well as facilitators who support programming at The Orchard.

This adventure camp will offer children the opportunity to create, collaborate, and learn with children in grades 2-5. Children will have time and space to adventure and explore their interests in our inside and outside learning offerings at The Orchard. These opportunities include STEM activities such as constructing with Legos and Keva blocks, exploring electricity with Snap Circuits, exploring properties of magnets, and microscopes. Outside learning offerings children love will also be offered, such as our "snow kitchen", cardboard fort building, sliding, exploring the climbing tree, orchard exploration, nature creations, snow painting, and more!

Registration is free, but you’ll need to sign up to save your spot—space is limited!
